HAIN’S PIPE & CIGAR SHOP

This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit one of the oldest cigar shops in the country.
Hain’s Pipe & Cigar Shop
225 S. George St.
York, Pa 17403
This wasn’t my first time visiting this shop, and like the other times it was great. Jesus (the owner) had a personal engagement to go to on the day myself and a few fellas from the Harrisburg Cigar Club were coming down to visit, and he stuck around to wait for us. Needless to say, we were welcomed from the door with hand shakes, hugs, and great hospitality.

Hain’s cigar shop has a good selection of premium cigars, but what makes this shop stand out from the rest is their signature hand rolled cigars. I visit a lot of cigar shop, and I don’t know off the top of my head of any other cigar shop that has a 100% bona fide Cuban hand roller. I smoked a cigar called, Coroja, with a Cuban filler Hand rolled by Jesus,it was phenomenal.
Also I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the atmosphere of the shop. Hain’s has an old world feel. although Jesus is beginning to upgrading his furniture,(I loved the old furniture) and has a great flat screen TV it’s the customers that make the shop warm, and comfortable to hang out and smoke fine cigars.

If you haven’t had one of Jesus’s hand rolled cigars, then you really need to visit this shop. You won’t be disappointed.
I give Hain’s a thumbs up!
This is Mark Henry, and I’ll see you on my next shop review!
